General Information
Dunrovin Christian Brothers Retreat Center, situated in a national park, the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, offers excellent retreat facilities for youth and adults.
We provide a quiet space for retreats, meetings, conferences, and team building events. In the midst of God's creation, our cozy buildings and friendly staff team up to take care of all your needs.
Five buildings located on the premises are available for rent by groups or individuals including the RETREAT CENTER, FRANCIS COTTAGE, RIVER CABIN, and THE APARTMENT.
What is available?
Linens, including sheets, blankets, pillows, towel, and washcloth, are provided for most groups. Some do not select this option, and leaders will inform those who need to bring towels and bedding.
A refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker/hot water dispensor are available in each building. We recommend that people with special diets speak with our staff before their retreat experience about how we can help meet dietary needs.
Wireless internet is available throughout the Retreat Center grounds.
What can we do?
Outdoor recreation opportunities abound. We provide canoes, kayaks, rope swing, water slide, soccer field with nets, outdoor basketball court, climbing wall, and two fire rings for bonfires.
A life-guarded swimming pool is available to rent.
A hiking path skirts the perimeter of the entire property, providing more than a mile of wooded trail, some right along the St. Croix River.
William O'Brien State Park is located five miles to the north of us, with the quaint towns of Marine on St. Croix (two miles) and Copas (six miles) nearby for shopping, ice cream, and touring. Stillwater, the birthplace of Minnesota, at only ten miles to the south, is a lively place for entertainment and tourism of all kinds, particularly apple orchards, wine vineyards, shopping, and fine dining.

Cell phone and pager coverage may be limited in this area. Phones are available for guests to call out. Our main phone number (651) 433-2486 can be used to get a message to a guest. Should no one answer in the evening or on the weekends, please leave your message and time you called. We periodically check voicemail for messages for guests.
